Office Appropriate Fall and Winter Fashion - Contest Alert!

long cardigan and plaid pants

Here are some of my past Fall/Winter outfits that transition to the office easily. As you may (or may not) be aware, I used to blog about fashion instead of my children. Now I look back at the pictures and laugh so hard! I was so self conscious and rarely made eye contact with the camera and I clearly didn't know what to do with my face. I'm not a model in the slightest so it always felt a bit silly but the outfits are still relevant and cute so I figured aggregating some fashion inspo was a fun little throwback. And look at this sweet little nugget! Taylor was so tiny. That's right, this gem is from 2016 but the punk in me will always love a tapered plaid pant for Fall. I also love burnt orange as it's always on trend when September hits. Head on over to Instagram and tag a mama in the above photo for a chance to win a Starbucks gift card!

Suede vest and over the knee boots

Burgundy/oxblood is always on trend in the cooler months. IMO you can't go wrong with over the knee boots because they make leggings (oh heavenly leggings!) look so chic!

grey oversized scarf

If you're as into dressing up leggings as I am, grab yourself an over sized scarf to take your outfit up a notch. I don't know about you but my office runs chilly in the winter so I usually need something I can pull on or off easily.

grey business casual dress

Not sure what I was going for here, maybe moody office bitch?! lol Either way, totally office appropriate and an over-sized bag is not only functional but also on trend (as per Glamour UK! lol)

salt and pepper cardigan and floral skirt

I'm constantly looking for ways to incorporate some of my Summer pieces to the colder months. By adding tights and a chunky sweater to this tank top and floral skirt, I can wear them all year long. I love keeping some of my favorite pieces functional. Living in a condo, I have limited closet space so keeping a good inventory and utilizing pieces year round is ideal.
