Quebec City Mini Vacay

Quebec City is a place that most Toronto school kids visit between grades 6 and 8. The main area is best navigated on foot so comfortable shoes (like my classicVans!) and leggings were a must! This breezy tank top was also necessary for the mild heatwave they were having.
There is so much history and even the landscape makes you daydream how things must have been a couple hundred years ago.

The rocky cliffs overlooking the St. Lawrence are breathtaking and the cobblestone streets make you feel like you're vacationing in Europe. Everywhere you go, there is a UNESCO World heritage posting because so many interesting and beautiful places are here.

We enjoyed Eclairs from Paillard, fondue at Le Petit Chateau and even dipped into the year round Christmas store. It is so awesome! It actually gave me butterflies thinking of how the holidays are something extraordinary again now that we have Taylor.

The Lower Town is a must see! The streets are adorable and make for some great photo ops!

Our AirBnB was really close to Rue Saint-Joseph Est so we went there a couple of times for dinner. I highly recommend sitting in the window at Bati Bassak. It was so romantic (even with a highchair situated between us!) and the food was delicious and well priced.

We took a 20 minute drive to Montmorency Falls Park. It is beautiful! We started at the top (lazy bums) and walked down and took the cable car back up. Taylor loved it!  What a beautiful town. It's so different from the big city I live in.
